ABOUT
A life made of small, lasting things.
I am June — a painter, journal keeper, occasional traveler, collector of warm light, and full-time assistant to a black cat named Aurora.
I'm June. A painter, model, and storyteller.
I live slowly, paint often, and occasionally step in front of the camera. I find inspiration in quiet corners, warm light, old rooms, unfamiliar faces, and the small rituals of everyday life. I am drawn to moments that are easy to overlook—the last light resting on a table, an unfinished cup of coffee, the silence after a long afternoon of painting, or the brief stillness between two photographs.
Painting allows me to observe the world from a distance, while modeling places me inside it. This space is where I keep my paintings, journals, travels, behind-the-scenes moments, and private observations. Each piece begins with something ordinary, then gradually becomes a record of memory, atmosphere, and the people or animals who quietly shape my days.
Aurora is my black cat, studio companion, occasional model, and very serious creative director. She prefers warm windows, fresh paper, orange scarves, and sitting beside every unfinished painting.
She has appeared in countless sketches and has interrupted nearly as many. Most days, she watches quietly from a chair; on important days, she walks directly across the work.
